Vieste, also said “the pearl of Gargano” is the destination of our summer holiday on August. We have been immediately enchanted by its wonderful landscapes.
Vieste
Vieste is located in the Gargano National Park; it is the most eastern town of the promontory. Thanks to the beauty of its waters, it has several times been honoured with the Blue Flag, the recognition assigned by the Foundation for Environmental Education.
Three treasures enhance this locality: natural, archeological and architectural beauty.
At the beginning of the so called “of the Castle” beach there is Vieste’s symbol: a monolith about 25 meters high, called Pizzomunno. Along the coast, “trabucchi,” historical installations made by fishermen, can be admired.
Among the most important buildings, we remember the Concattedrale. The cathedral is in Romanesque-Pugliese style, but a Baroque bell tower was built later; an intruiguing and special harmony connects the two buildings. The town’s profile is dominated by the imposing Castello degli Svevi.
Hotel Pizzomunno
L’Hotel Pizzomunno is in an ideal position: it overlooks the beach, at few steps from the sea, it is surrounded by a luxuriant pine forest, and in the meantime it is near the town.
The Hotel has a private beach and confortable and elegant swimming pools. It is also equipped with wellness centre, and even with a cinema.
The furniture is elegant and exclusive, a melting of antique and modern styles. Rooms are equipped with every confort.
At the dinner table, Puglia’s flavours are conjugated with refined tastes of international gastronomy.

For 7 nights, from July 12 to July 19, 2015
- € 1.020 in Superior double room
- € 1.150 in Superior double room with view on the sea
- € 1.250 in Superior double room single use
Participation fee includes:
- staying full board, water included at meals

- Special dinner at the swimming pool's side with live music
Participation fee does not include:
- wellness treatments
- tournaments' entry fee (€ 8,00)

A deposit of € 300,00 is required at the time of booking. The balance has to be paid at least 15 days before the holiday starts.
Cancellations
The deposit won't be refunded for cancellations after June 27, 2015.

Entry fee for each tournament is € 8,00 per player. All the tournaments are valid to obtain FIGB points. During all the tournaments we are using bridgemates and the running ranking is live-time updated and displayed on a mega-screen. They will also be available on our website at the end of the game.The tournaments will be directed by the international tournament director Bernardo Biondo.
Before every tournament (except the VUGRAPH tournament, during which Fulvio will play with the leader of the overall ranking) we are randomly drawing among all the guests a partner for Fulvio; his previous partner will play in partnership with Vincenzo.
We will set up an overall ranking of all the tournaments and the first six players (considering the seven best scores obtained) will be awarded. The running overall ranking will be daily exposed in the tournaments' hall.
How to get
By car:
Autostrada adriatica A14 con uscita Poggio Imperiale, Superstrada del Gargano till Vico del Gargano, then SS 89 till Vieste; from South: A14 exit Cerignola Est, follow SS 545 direction Manfredonia, then Mattinata and Strada litoranea till Vieste.
By train:
From Foggia 90 kms.
By flight:
Foggia airport, approx. 90 min. transfer, Bari airport, approx. two hours by car.
