In addition to the Bridge Vacation Events, participants will also be eligible to play in the 2006 CRETE INTERNATIONAL BRIDGE FESTIVAL. There will be an Open Pairs, Mixed Pairs and Team Event with prize pools of € 30,000. It is possible to participate in the International Festival without participating in the Bridge Vacation; however, there will be an entry fee of € 90 per person for the Open Pairs; € 50 per person for the Mixed Pairs and € 60 per person for the Team Event or you may pay € 160 per person for all 3 Events and the Bridge Vacation’s lessons.
Separate Events will be held for the Bridge Vacation participants only. The schedule for these Events may be found in the Bridge Vacation Brochure. There will be a € 400 prize pool for each of these Events.
In addition to the prize pools, winners will be awarded Italian and Greek Federation Masterpoints. As a bonus for enrolling in the Bridge Vacation package, you will be eligible for a daily drawing to play with Fulvio Fantoni in the Bridge Vacation Open Pairs held in the evenings.
International Tournament Directors Ruggero Venier and Dimitris Ballas will be organizing the Events.
All Festival tournaments will be broadcasted on Bridge Base Online Vugraph by BBO ITALIA staff
Participation fee per person
Participation fee for each person is € 680,00 and includes:
Double occupancy with breakfast and dinner (drinks not included);
Private beach with umbrellas and lounge chairs;
Welcome Cocktail and Gala Dinner on friday evening;
Bridge Lessons and handouts in English, Italian and Greek;
Entry fee for ALL TOURNAMENTS (entry fee value is 200 Euro);
Spa discounts (top ten in the world).
Further:
All vacation participants will be automatically registered for the BBO private bridge club "Bridge Vacation with Fantoni" so they can continue to play bridge online with Fulvio Fantoni during the year.
